Louis R. Berteotti, CFP^®, ChFC^®, CLU^®

Lou is the founder of Berteotti Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., with more than 4 decades of experience in both the insurance and investment industries. Originally from Chicora, Lou majored in Business Management and graduated from Penn State University. He began his career in 1973 as an Agent with AXA Equitable Life Insurance. Subsequently, he became an independent advisor with LPL Financial in July 2000 moving his office to the prior State Police Barracks on Paint Blvd. in Shippenville. His vast knowledge of the industry and ability to educate his clients continues to set him apart as a financial consultant.

During his career, Lou completed the requirements to achieve the status of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Financial Consultant and Chartered Life Underwriter®. He is also a life member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), which is a global independent association of the world's leading life insurance and financial services professionals. He frequently attends meetings to broaden his education in the life insurance and investment areas.

Lou is married to Ginny Berteotti and has 2 grown sons. Outside of business he is an avid gardener, enjoys hunting and fishing and collects vinyl rock-n-roll records, especially from the 50's through the 70's era.
